Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds
Reservations are not confirmed until proper deposit and payment has been received. All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged as received by the resort.
Failure to arrive or premature departures are not eligible for refund. Cancellation fees will be deducted from all refunds.
High Season (November 16 to June 14)
50% of total cost is required to confirm a reservation and is non-refundable. Final balance is due upon checking out.
Low Season (June 15 to November 15)
50% of total cost is required to confirm a reservation. Final balance is due upon checking out.
Low Season Cancellations
90 or more days before arrival: Full refund less 15% of deposit
60-89 days before arrival: Full refund less 30% of deposit
46-59 days before arrival: Full refund less 60% of deposit
0-45 days before arrival: No refund
Clarissa Falls Resort strongly recommends the purchase of travelers' insurance offered by your travel agency or airline for your trip to Belize in order to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances which might cause cancellation or delay of your reservation within the non-refundable period.
Changes in Reservation
The unused portion of resort and/or any part of the package plans or trips not taken by customer's choice are non-transferable and non-refundable. Trips cancelled or shortened as a result of illness or injury, inclement weather, airline delays, strikes, political unrest and/or acts of God are non-transferable and non-refundable. Clarissa Falls will not be responsible for any delay and/or missed flights, additional expense, or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival or cancellation of flights, severe weather, medical emergencies, acts of government, or failure and/or malfunction of any machinery and/or equipment which is not owned by Clarissa Falls.
Children under 6 stay free of charge, when staying in a room with paying adults, using existing bedding. Guests must notify the resort at reservation time if an infant will be staying with them, and if a crib is needed. Room types and locations may be limited.
In the event of delayed or cancelled flights, Clarissa Falls requires at least 5 hours notice by telephone for arrival transfer cancellations. Failure to notify Clarissa Falls of delayed or cancelled flights will result in the full charge of arrival transfer costs.
Proof of Citizenship & Visa Requirements
Guests are solely responsible for determining and obtaining proper entry documentation for Belize. All foreign nationals require a passport to enter Belize. Visitors from some countries may also require a visa. No refunds will be granted for denied entry caused by failure to carry proper proof of citizenship or the appropriate visa.

Clarissa Falls will not be responsible for any personal injury, loss of life, or loss and/or damage to personal equipment or property during your visit to Clarissa Falls or during your participation in Clarissa Falls' activities and tours.
If you have confirmed one of Clarissa Falls' Inland Expedition packages, please be reminded that this package does not include entrance and/or guide fees applicable to the tours you decide to take.
Also note that Clarissa Falls cannot guarantee that entrance and/or guide fees will not change as we have no control over these and we merely pay them as a service to our guests.
